2nd Policy Brief REACHOUT ‘Facilitating Urban Innovation: Climate services co-creation and their use in urban environments’
The REACHOUT project has boosted collaboration across various European cities through co-creation hubs, including both smaller cities (Lillestrøm, Cork, Gdynia, Logroño) and larger cities (Milan, Athens, Amsterdam) to come out with a comprehensive and flexible set of resources (Triple-A Toolkit) to support communities to understand climate-related risk, design of adaptation options and transformations & take action to build resilience.
This collaborative approach cultivates a sense of ownership among stakeholders, leading to tools that not only address current challenges but also anticipate and adapt to evolving requirements.
So, the second REACHOUT Policy Brief aims to share our key lessons learned, as well as cases studies from REACHOUT City Hubs as examples of different approaches to engage co-creation when developing climate services and tools in urban environments.
