Ad is the Project Coordinator of REACHOUT. Dr Ad Jeuken, will correspond with the European Commission project officer and will serve as the team leader of the consortium. He will also be the Research and Technical Development Manager, who is responsible for the scientific coordination and research development.
Dr. Ir. A.B.M. Jeuken is an expert advisor in the field of climate change adaptation and water management. He has a master degree in environmental sciences from the Wageningen University and finished a PhD in Global Climate modelling at KNMI and the University of Eindhoven. After a career in climate science he moved to work for Rijkswaterstaat, the national authority for water management in the Netherlands, holding several positions at the specialist advisory department for inland waters, RIZA. Now with 11 years in Deltares, he has developed as an international expert on climate change adaptation and water with both a broad technical and policy perspective. He has specialized in supporting clients in decision making under uncertainty, offering insight in the robustness and flexibility of solutions. Dr. Jeuken is the Project Coordinator and leader of the REACHOUT project Consortium.
