I mainly support the Learning Programme on Climate Services for cities and the engagement activities within City Hubs.
My hope and goal for REACHOUT is to effectively support cities in enhance their capacities related to climate services and urban resilience, in order to design and implement better policies and measures for climate adaptation.
Federico Aili is an urban planner with strong interest in sustainability and urban resilience. From 2018 to 2021 he worked for the International Society of City and Regional Planners (ISOCARP) and the ISOCARP Institute, where he mainly focused on EU-funded projects on Nature-based Solutions, research proposals and capacity-building programmes. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geography and a master in Urban Planning in the Politecnico of Milano (Italy). In 2018 he also concluded a master in Urban Management and Development at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam (The Netherlands), with a specialisation in urban environment, sustainability and climate change. Managing and planning more sustainable, liveable and inclusive cities has always been his personal passion and his working ambition.
