To support interesting and new collaborations between stakeholders and citizens. I am looking forward to seeing how we can draw together different experiences and perceptions to create climate services that are accessible and adapted to users needs.
Katriona McGlade (F) is a Fellow at Ecologic Institute, Germany where she focuses on climate adaptation policy and practice especially in coastal regions. Her interests are in collaborative, stakeholder-centred adaptation processes to develop shared knowledge and solutions. Examples of her previous work on stakeholder-centred adaptation include Co-designing the Assessment of Climate Change Costs (COACCH), Bottom-up Climate Adaptation Strategies Towards a Sustainable Europe (BASE) and Resilience-Increasing Strategies for Coasts – toolKIT (RISC-KIT) under the European Commission’s 7th Framework Programme (FP7). Parallel to her role at Ecologic Institute, Katriona is studying for a PhD on knowledge and coastal adaptation at the University of East Anglia, UK.
