Hasse Goosen (PhD) (M) is the founder and director of Climate Adaptation Services. Hasse has been the architect of the tools which reach out to hundreds of unique users per day. Hasse supported numerous cities in the Netherlands and internationally. As part of the C40 climate action initiative, he contributed to the climate risk assessments of Durban City, Quezon City, Kuala Lumpur & Hanoi. Furthermore, he contributed to the development of training material for the Adaptation Academy of C40. Furthermore, he organized and facilitated the Delta Ateliers Bangladesh in support of the Bangladesh Deltaplan(2015-2016) and he contributed to the development of the Knowledge Portal and climate atlas for Bangladesh.Hasse currently works on the Vulnerability Assessment of poor communities across 9 cities in Bangladesh (UNDP). Hasse also worked on the development of Climate Atlasses in Kenya, the Himalaya region (within the Hi-aware project) and in Indonesia (JCP project). Moreover he was Team Leader of the Nationwide Vulnerability Assessment of Bangladesh. He supported the development of the Copernicus Climate Service through various projects such as ClipC, SWICCA and C3S_422_Lot1_SMHI contract. He has an affiliation with Wageningen University as a guest lecturer.
