I am contributing as the main contact point for Lillestrøm municipality, and will also work on the production of story maps for the cities.
To use geospatial information and story maps to help aid cities in decision-making
Nellie Body (MSc)(F) works with geohazards research and consulting at NGI. She has earned a MSc in Geohazards and Geomechanics and a BSc in Geology and geophysics from the University of Oslo, as well as single courses in Disaster management from the Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. Her focus at NGI is in geospatial data analysis, using methods from GIS, programming and remote sensing. She is interested in the intersection between natural and social sciences, and how a multidisciplanry approach can improve the understanding of risk due to natural hazards.
