It is often challenging to find ready to use spatial data on climate hazards and vulnerable locations. Using crowd-sourcing technology, city hubs can ask their citizens / key stakeholders to map relevant hazards. The resulting dataset can be used to validate / ground-truth model data or help prioritize actions.
When no local data is available, for example on local pluvial flood risk, crowd-sourced maps can make a difference
